A Victoria B.C based architect who specializes in private residences on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Brian’s approach for private residences focuses on the client’s needs and desires while carefully analyzing all aspects of the site and its surrounding context. The end result is a highly personalized home which fits well with the natural aspects of the site and makes people feel welcome, comforted and interested in their environment.
Brian is involved in all stages of the project and maintains a close working relationship with his clients throughout the design and construction process. This results in a successful solution that is creative, detailed, and cohesive.
Brian received his architectural degree from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (now part of Dalhousie University) in 1984. After working in both small and large-scale architectural firms in Vancouver B.C., Brian moved to Victoria in 1994 and opened his own architectural firm. Currently, Brian is a member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
